NPS: focus on Novel Synthetic Opioids
October 14 - October 18
2nd International Scientific School – Novel Psychoactive Substances: focus on Novel Synthetic Opioids
Sardegna Ricerche | Sardinia Technology Park | Pula | Italy
October 14th – 18th, 2019
Aim of the School
The advent of NPS has contributed to the appearance and growth of a new ‘drug scenario’ characterized by an increased number of drug users among youth and the consumption of drugs with unknown effects or safety profiles.
This International Scientific School constitutes a unique opportunity for graduates students (I or II level of University Degree), PhD students, and post-doctoral scientists at an early stage in their career to gain expertise in the field of Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS).
This project has been funded by Sardegna Ricerche and the University of Cagliari and follows the JUSTSO project developed, under the action of the European Union’s Justice Programme (Drugs Policy Initiatives), to promote an integrated monitoring and profiling of NSO in order to prevent health harms and update relevant professionals.
